1928

Jacob Ritter 1896 - 1970

Jacob Ritter founded a company, specialized in the production of boxes. One of the best customers was the car manufacturer Opel and leading companies for mineral table water.

1929 - 1931

Due to the economical crises the trade had to be changed.

 

1932

Using of thermoplastic substance by a hydraulic Bussmann-Press with newest technology.

 

1945	After the war the manufaction was changed back to using wood for the production of cupboards, chests and even housings for T.V. receiver. Buttoms, nibs for cigarettes, one magic item and different christian art-products were produced by plastic parts.

 

1948

In community, father and son, ball point pens and refills were produced.

1949

Exhibition of ball point pens at the "Frankfurter Frühjahrsmesse" and Hannover-Messe".

 

1950	Change from a single owner company to a limited partnership company. Beginning of the fifties only housings for pens without refills were delivered.

 

1950 - 1972

Thin ball point pen with cap and moulded clip. Model 100. First ball point pen with ball mechanism. Model 190 First ball point pen with put in" clip. Model 220

 

1956

First ball point pen with plastic ball mechanism. The continue development to type 220/221 with ball mechanism was applied for patent worldwide in many cultivated countries. Similar the first put in" clip for this serie was developed. These kind of clips are a part of the relevant technic and ball poin pen industrie.

 

1964 - 1965

Building of new injection moulding - and moulding department.

 

1965	Start of the production for Fineliner pens.

 

1972 - 1978

They were a closeness further development in design and technic of the successful model 220.

 

1972

Ball point pen 280. A model, which is still very fashion, cause of the very attractive- and special design.

 

1976	Fineliner with plastic nibs, with- and without metal cover and cartridges with according housings.

 

1978	50 years jubilee. Building of the new administration complex.

 

1984	Building of the hall for keeping stock of raw material.

 

1986

Successful serie 403 / rings 196 in rainbow colours.

 

1990	Building of the additional floor onto the administration complex.

 

1991	Building of the new hall for keeping stock of raw material. Two components injection mould for serie 900.

 

1992	Building of the new complexes for keeping stock of pallets and assembly- and printing department.

 

1994

Arno Ritter

Arno Ritter, grandson of the founder, took the responsibility for the company Jacob Ritter GmbH & Co. KG

 

1994

Cooperation with the company Hansa Industrie e Comercio Ltda. Sao Paulo / Brazil

 

1996

Change from Jacob Ritter Plastic Spritzguß GmbH & Co. KG to Jacob Ritter GmbH.

 

1998

New distribution system: Advertising wholesale First time exhibitor at the "PSI-Messe", Düsseldorf Foundation of company Ritter Pen Corporation, USA / Fort Myers / Florida.

 

1999	Foundation of company Ritter Spolka, Polska.
