REFILLS

All ball point pen models (except for metal pens and items of the „Ritter Global“-line) are equipped with special high quality refills with T.C. ball and a nickel plated brass tip (ULTRA refill with nickel silver tip). Other refill equipment on demand.

COLOURS

Each model can be ordered in individual colour combination according to colour details shown in our Penbuilder. Slight variations compared to original plastic parts are possible. Special colours can be produced according to your Pantone or HKS requirement on demand.

SCREEN-PRINT

The film must be coated right reading, for multicolour prints with register crosses. Colours will be printed according to your colour specifications (Pantone, HKS, RAL). Please consider following for halftone prints: Screen is halftone 40 (40 lines per centimeter), Halftone is between 20 and 80%. Imprints on metal pens are only partly scratch resistant, despite of optimal matching of all imprint components.

PAD-PRINT

ETCHING

The film must be coated right reading. The etching on the surface will appear darkgrey, depending on the underground. Please consider that for each 2.000 pcs. etchings we need one film (e.g. for 10.000 pcs. etchings we need 5 films). 

• Attention: Maximum line thickness of texts and logos 1,2 mm.

LASER ENGRAVING

For laser engraving, we need vector files (PDF, Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw [CorelDraw up to Version 11.0]), so that an optimal engraving result can be achieved. The printed text contained texts must be converted to paths to avoid problems with fonts.

DIGITAL FOIL

Here's a picture showing imprint using digital printing to a carrier film. This film is then applied in hot embossing on the barrel of the pen. The data for the production of film and high resolution images should be created in CMYK. Special colors can not be printed. Please note that the data must be created in the size 89 x 40,4 mm. Please consider that the foiling procedure requires a trimming of 3 mm on the right and left side of the barrel. The visible range on the pen corresponding to 83 x 40,4 mm.

FILES

We prefer vector files (PDF, Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw [CorelDraw up to Version 11.0]), so that optimum images can be achieved. The templates can be enlarged and reduced without loss of quality. The printed text contained texts must be converted to paths to avoid problems with fonts. Files that can be used as well, are pixel files (Photoshop). Please make sure that the print image corresponding to high resolution (minimum 600 dpi) or the printed image is larger than the issued printsize, in order to guarantee a clean printed image.

• Vectorfiles: Illustrator, FreeHand, Corel Draw (to version 11.0) included texts have to be converted into path, in order to avoid problems with the fonts
• Pixelfiles: Photoshop (600 dpi min.). The logo size must be 1:1 or bigger.
